Psidium cattleianum known as strawberry guava is an evergreen fruit tree. This plant has lovely thick canopy cover by glossy, leathery leaves. Red-purple berries are produced in winter and should be picked when ripe. Plant in well-drained fertile soil. Feed with complete fertilise every year. Once mature this plant can be pruned to allow more light.
