Dianella Tasmanica is a graceful, broad leaf lily with slender cherry red stems. Come spring time the plant bears masses of blue and yellow flowers, followed by purple berries in the summer. This Australian native suits cold temperate to sub tropical climates. The plant is outstanding for the patio, along pathways or mass planted with bold rock work. For a healthy plant trim the spent flower stems and feed with native fertiliser in early spring or late summer. In either full sun or partial shade, this plant will grow to 75 cm in height and width. Ideal for attracting butterflies.
