Growing and caring for your garden can be a rewarding and fulfilling hobby. Make it even easier with these quick tips from the knowledgeable garden experts on the Diacos team.

Group plants with the same needs together.

All plants have different needs when it comes to soil, water and sunshine. By grouping together the plants in your garden with similar needs, you’ll have a much easier time caring for them.

Always check the soil!

You’ll find this little gem of wisdom everywhere on our site. Always use your fingers to check the moisture of your soil before watering the garden. It’s the easiest way to tell if you should water now or wait a bit longer.

Hold on to your compost waste.

Your fresh food waste (like coffee grounds, egg shells and veggie scraps) makes great garden food. Consider buying a composter for these scraps or simply bury them and let them compost naturally underground
