Pesticides are substances that use natural or chemical compounds to kill unwanted pests. If left untreated, pest problems can often do quite a bit of damage to your garden. There are many different pesticides out there, but these are the 3 most common types:

Pesticides

Insecticides. Probably one of the most common pesticides in use today, insecticides are the various substances used to kill damaging insects and remove infestations. These are commonly sold as spray-on pesticide solutions 

Herbicides. These are more commonly referred to as ‘Weed Killers’. These pesticides are designed to poison unwanted plants and weeds that can damage your garden. Use these with caution to avoid accidentally poisoning other plants.

Fungicide. These helpful products will remove harmful fungal diseases from your plants. Fungicides have been specially formulated to target and destroy any unwanted fungus without doing lasting damage to the plant itself.
