Passionfruit Sweetheart (Passiflora Edulis) are attractive climbers with impressive shaped flowers in summer, followed by dark purple to black coloured fruits that are full of sweet juicy pulp from late summer to winter. Great for desserts, smoothies, and icings or eat straight off the vine.

Passionfruit Sweetheart is an extra sweet version of the traditional Black Passionfruit – the fruit is full of extra sweet and juicy pulp.

A vigorous climber best grown on trellis on a wall or fence.

Needs full sun in well drained, light to medium soil.

Protect initially from frost out once established will tolerate hard conditions.

Give plants a light prune after fruiting.

This plant is produced from seed and therefore grown on its own rootstock to prevent suckering.
