Details:
We’re thrilled to introduce you to our Slimline™ Camellia, a real gem from the Paradise® collection. This beauty is a perfect fit for those tight spots in your garden, or even for a classy pot on your patio. It’s got an upright and slender posture, just like a ballet dancer, and it’s perfect for a neat hedge or a narrow garden bed. It’ll grow up to 2-3m tall and spread out about 1-2m wide. And the best part? You can plant them just 1m apart!
Now, let’s talk about sunlight. This Camellia is as flexible as they come – it’s happy in full sun or part shade. So, whether you’ve got a sunny spot or a shady corner, this plant will thrive.
But the real showstopper is the flowers. Our Camellia sasanqua ‘ParAva’, or as we like to call it, ‘Avalanche’, is an early bloomer. It’ll light up your autumn with a flurry of double white flowers, and even throw in a hint of perfume for good measure. The plant’s habit is elegant, slender, and upright – a real head-turner!
Now, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty – the soil. Camellias love a rich top soil. If you’re dealing with poor or clay soils, don’t worry! Just build up the soil with some decomposed organic matter, and you’re good to go.
Once you’ve got your Camellia planted, give it a good mulch and water it regularly until it’s established. After that, you’ll be surprised at how drought hardy these plants are. Just feed them with a complete fertiliser in spring and summer, and give them a light prune in early spring for shape, if needed.
Remember, we’re here to help you every step of the way. We’re not just a nursery, we’re a family, and we want to see you and your garden thrive. So, come on down, have a chat, share a laugh, and let’s get gardening!
