Description
A large, spreading deciduous shade tree growing to around 15m. Young serrated leaves emerge pale green in spring, turning soft yellow and then rich golden in autumn. The mottled bark adds winter interest after the leaves drop.
Tolerates air pollution and wind — a solid choice for urban Melbourne gardens. Note: roots are invasive, so plant well away from buildings, pipes, and paving. Water well until established.
