Description
A native tea tree with deep purple-black foliage and masses of small white flowers in late spring — the contrast between dark leaves and white blooms is striking. Pink-purple young stems add further interest.
Grows to around 2m. Hardy and easy to care for. Tolerates frost, drought, and coastal exposure. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Attracts native wildlife and insects. Works as a feature plant or informal hedge.
