Description
A cold-season annual with velvety flowers in a wide range of colours — purples, yellows, oranges, whites, and bicolours. The flat-faced blooms often feature distinctive dark markings. Flowers from autumn through spring in Melbourne.
Grows in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained soil. Works in garden beds, borders, pots, hanging baskets, and window boxes. Deadhead spent flowers to extend the display. Replace with warm-season annuals when summer arrives.
