Description
A fast-growing native shrub with deep purple-bronze, arching foliage. The rich, dark leaf colour provides a strong contrast in native and mixed gardens. Small, inconspicuous flowers are followed by papery, hop-like seed capsules.
Grows to around 3-4m. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Drought hardy and adaptable. Works as a screen, windbreak, or background planting. Handles a range of soil types including poor soils.
