Description

A shade-tolerant perennial groundcover with heart-shaped, silver-green leaves and orchid-pink to purple flowers from spring through early summer. Spreads to form a dense, low mat — useful under trees, shrubs, and in shaded garden beds.

Grows in part shade to full shade with moist, well-drained soil. Frost hardy and low maintenance. Works well as an underplanting in Melbourne gardens.
