Velvet Calathea

Description

An indoor plant with long, lance-shaped leaves — dark green and smooth on top, burgundy and covered in soft, fuzzy hairs underneath. The velvety texture on the undersides is the standout feature. Low maintenance and tolerant of lower light conditions.

Grows in bright indirect light with moist, well-drained potting mix. Prefers warmth and humidity. Avoid direct sun and cold draughts. Water when the top of the soil begins to dry. Works on tabletops, shelves, and plant stands.
