Description
An Australian native evergreen shrub producing large, deep red flower heads in spring — one of Australia’s most iconic native flowers. The bold blooms attract nectar-feeding birds. Leathery, dark green foliage provides year-round structure.
Grows to around 2m. Plant in full sun to part shade with well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Low phosphorus fertiliser only. Suits Melbourne gardens in the right soil conditions. A bold native feature plant.
