Description
An indoor foliage plant with broad, velvety green leaves marked with bold, dark striped patterns and rich purple undersides. The dramatic leaf patterning gives it its common name. The leaves fold upward at night and open flat during the day.
Grows in bright indirect light with moist, well-drained potting mix. Prefers warmth and humidity. Avoid direct sun and cold draughts. Water when the top of the soil begins to dry out.
