Description
A compact native banksia with cylindrical red and gold flower spikes that look like lit candles through autumn and winter. The flowers are a favourite with honeyeaters and other nectar-feeding birds and insects.
Drought tolerant once established and grows well in full sun with well-drained soil. A hardy native that suits Melbourne conditions and adds year-round structure to native gardens.
