Description
A large ornamental smoke bush shrub has deep burgundy-red foliage through spring and summer. Pinkish, smoke-like flower plumes appear in summer, creating the hazy, billowing effect the plant is named for. Autumn colour is vivid orange and red before the leaves drop.
Grows in full sun to part shade with well-drained soil. Handles a range of conditions and is low maintenance once established. A strong feature plant for Melbourne gardens.
