Description
A productive mulberry tree bearing large, sweet, dark-purple berries over an extended summer season. The fruit is good fresh, in jams, and in baking. Deciduous — the broad green foliage drops in winter, and the tree puts on a good display of autumn colour before it goes.
Grows to around 5m. Hardy and adaptable. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Low maintenance once established — one of the easier fruit trees for Melbourne gardens.
