Description
A large, architectural shrub with tall spikes of blue-purple, bell-shaped flowers in spring and early summer. The handsome, grey-green foliage is evergreen. Fast growing and drought tolerant — thrives in hot, dry conditions.
Grows to around 2m. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Handles coastal exposure and poor soils. A bold feature plant for Melbourne gardens. Cut spent flower spikes after flowering.
