Description
An Australian native tree with a distinctive bottle-shaped trunk that swells to store water — an adaptation to dry conditions. The dark green foliage contrasts well against the thick, bulging trunk. A unique and visually striking feature tree.
Grows to around 15m over time. Very drought tolerant. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Low maintenance. Suits large Melbourne gardens and properties.
