Description
A deciduous tree with distinctive white, papery bark and deep green foliage that turns golden yellow and bronze in autumn. The fine, pendulous branches create an elegant, light canopy. One of the most widely planted ornamental trees.
Grows to around 15m. Plant in a sunny position with cool, moist soil. Prefers cooler Melbourne conditions. Works as a feature tree, in groups for a grove effect, or as a shade tree.
