Description
A dramatic Australian native perennial with long, strap-like leaves growing to around 2m. At maturity, it sends up a towering flower spike — up to 4m — bearing masses of red blooms. A bold, architectural native plant.
Slow growing but worth the wait. Grows in full sun to part shade with well-drained soil. Hardy and drought tolerant. Suits larger Melbourne gardens as a feature or specimen planting.
