Description
A columnar form of silver birch with a tall, narrow, upright habit and the same distinctive white bark and fine foliage as the standard variety. Bright yellow autumn colour. The tight, fastigiate form makes it well suited to narrow spaces, driveways, and formal plantings where width is limited.
Grows to around 12m tall but stays narrow. Plant in full sun with cool, moist soil. Prefers cooler Melbourne conditions. Works as a specimen tree or in rows for a formal avenue effect.
