Description
A fast-growing deciduous tree with compound, velvety-textured leaflets and an elegant, rounded crown providing good shade. Tolerates heat, drought, and a range of soil types including clay. Yellow autumn colour before leaf drop.
Grows to around 10m. Hardy and adaptable — one of the tougher shade trees for Melbourne conditions. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Works as a shade tree or feature in larger gardens.
