Forest Pansy

Description

A small, deciduous ornamental tree with rich, deep reddish-purple heart-shaped leaves. In spring, small pink flowers appear on bare branches before the foliage fills in. The purple foliage holds through summer before turning yellow and orange in autumn.

Compact — doesn’t grow too large, making it well suited to smaller Melbourne gardens. Plant in full sun to part shade with well-drained soil. A strong feature tree that provides colour interest across three seasons.
