Description
The essential pollinator for female kiwi vines. Does not produce fruit itself, but its fragrant white spring flowers provide the pollen needed for the female plant to set fruit. One male vine can pollinate up to 8 female plants.
Grow on a trellis or fence near female kiwi vines. Full sun with well-drained soil. Vigorous grower — prune in winter to keep it manageable. Hardy and adaptable.
