Description
A medium-sized deciduous tree with deep green, glossy foliage that turns vivid shades of purple-bronze, scarlet, orange, and gold in autumn — one of the most reliable autumn colour displays for Melbourne. White blossom appears in spring. Small, ornamental fruit follows.
Grows to around 8m. Hardy and drought tolerant once established. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Works as a feature tree, street tree, or shade tree in larger Melbourne gardens.
