Description
A compact dwarf peach tree producing large, golden-yellow freestone fruit in summer. The flesh is sweet and firm — good fresh, in preserves, and for baking. Pink blossom in spring adds ornamental appeal. Self-fertile — no pollinator needed.
Grows to around 2m. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Suits pots, courtyards, and small Melbourne gardens. Feed with fruit tree fertiliser and water regularly while fruit is developing.
Botanical name: Prunus persica ‘Golden Queen’ (dwarf)
