Description
A small deciduous fruit tree producing sweet, non-astringent orange fruit in autumn — can be eaten firm like an apple, straight off the tree. The foliage turns vivid red, orange, and gold in autumn, making it both productive and ornamental.
Grows to around 4m. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Self-fertile. Suits Melbourne’s climate well. Low maintenance once established. A dual-purpose tree for fruit and autumn colour.
