Description

An evergreen shrub with glossy, bright green, narrow pointed leaves and small, tight tulip-shaped flowers in a brownish-wine hue. The fragrance is the main attraction — a rich, sweet, port wine scent that carries well, especially in the evening. Flowers from spring through summer.

Grows to around 3m. Works as a hedge, screen, or feature plant. Plant in a sheltered position with well-drained soil. Frost tolerant once established.
