Description
A deciduous shrub with large, globe-shaped clusters of white sterile flowers in late spring — the round flower heads resemble snowballs. Foliage turns red in autumn with small berries. An old-fashioned garden favourite.
Grows to around 3m. Thrives in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained soil. Frost hardy and reliable. Works as a feature shrub, screen, or in mixed borders.
