Description
A compact evergreen shrub with clusters of purple-magenta, pea-shaped flowers appearing for most of the year — particularly heavy in spring and summer. The glossy, dark green foliage provides a clean backdrop to the vivid blooms. Fast growing and easy to maintain.
Grows to around 1.5m. Plant in full sun to part shade with well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Responds well to light pruning after flowering. Works in borders, mixed plantings, and as an informal hedge.
