White Weeping Cherry

Description

A graceful ornamental tree with cascading, weeping branches covered in soft pink buds that open to pure white blossom in early spring. Young leaves emerge reddish-bronze, maturing to green, then turning yellow, orange, and scarlet in autumn. Deciduous — the bare weeping framework is attractive in winter.

Grows to around 5m. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Works as a feature tree, specimen, or focal point in Melbourne gardens. Water well until established.
