Description

One of the most popular indoor trees in Melbourne. Large, glossy, wavy-edged leaves on a tall, upright trunk make it a bold statement plant. The leaves are deep green with a leathery texture and prominent veins.

Prefers bright, indirect light — an east or north-facing window works well. Water when the top 5cm of soil dries out. Avoid cold draughts and moving it around too much. Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to keep them glossy. Can grow outdoors in a sheltered, frost-free spot.
